It does add a little fun even though I'm not a fan of gimmicks like that. We celebrated a birthday and it felt special to her. ”

“ A family member really likes this place so he took us one time. I thought it was a pretty decent place with good pricing and fresh sashimi/sushi. As long as you go in with the right expectations - it's not super fancy or authentic. It's a nice Chinese-run sushi place and the food is pretty good and service is excellent. Good place for a family outing. ”

“ Parking lot was in the back, which was almost full for the lunch crowd on a Wednesday. We just walked up to the front and the hostess/waiter sat us down immediately. The place itself was decorated nicely. It's a quaint smaller sushi/ramen restaurant. Table and chairs were clean. We asked for water, which was served quickly before we made a decision for lunch. We ordered from the lunch specials. A + B + C = $16.99 My friend ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, Mini Chirashi bowl and Tempura vegetables. I ordered the Salmon Poke, Salmon Karma and Seaweed salad. It was my first time here and the place was 1/3 full during lunchtime. Nice ambiance while we waited for our food to arrive. Even though my friend completed his meal, he said that he had better ramen elsewhere. As for my meal, I love salmon, so I was thoroughly pleased with the quality of the salmon. It was my first time having the Salmon Karma and it was delicious. If I knew that my salmon poke came with the seaweed salad, then I wouldn't have ordered that as my side dish. Oh well. Next time I would like to try their Chubby Sashimi Deluxe. ”

“ We had a great family outing at this sushi spot. The variety of sushi rolls and lunch specials we ordered were fresh and enjoyable. My favorite was the Mars Roll, which they customized to exclude crabmeat at my request--it was excellent. Mango roll was also awesome. The only downside was the teriyaki chicken, which we found bland and a bit like it had been boiled. Overall, though, it was a good experience, and we'd be happy to come back again. ”

“ If you love sushi & ramen, this spot is a must try! The quality of their fish is amazing and gets flown in from Japan every Friday. Their Chubby Sashimi was so good and literally melts in your mouth! We tried their Tonkatsu Ramen that comes with tender chashu pork and perfect, soft-boiled eggs. They even have some unique items like their Tuna Marrow Shot made from bluefin tuna. ”

“ We and our favorite couple made this our New Year's meal and we were so happy to be there! All the wait staff was SO friendly and helpful, it made for a great first impression to a new restaurant and New Year's. The service was great, they were so helpful with the food questions since it was our first time there, all done with a smile. The ambiance was great, perfect for a date or a group setting. The inside was decorated so cute as was the outside. We didn't brave the cold but would love to sit on their patio once it gets warmer. We ordered so much food, all delicious! Can't remember all the rolls' names but I do remember both Chubby rolls. They have this one plate with lots of sashimi and it has this cute dry ice "volcano" effect. Perfect for pictures on social media. Presentation presentation presentation! We will be back, it left a lasting impression. ”

“ Great new sushi spot in Brea! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their sashimi. Highly recommend getting their sashimi platter which comes with 20 pieces of thick slices of fish, and the presentation is nice too! They have a nice selection of sushi rolls and nigiri, including no rice rolls. Highly recommend this restaurant! I believe they import some of their fish from Japan too, you can definitely taste the difference in quality compared to other regular sushi spots ! ”

“ Great experience! They were full inside so we had to sit out on the patio. The staff was very attentive. I was highly impressed by the presentation of all the food. We loved almost all the things we ordered. It was my husbands birthday so the sashimi deluxe plate he got was so beautifully presented. ”

“ We got the sashimi deluxe which was amazingly good for the price. It was good to share for two people. I love the tuna and uni pieces. They give you a small little show with the liquid nitrogen and all. The other white fish sashimi we weren't huge fans of but we still ate it. We also had unagi don. Parking area was small. We got there when it first opened so we beat the crowd. Service was also good. The server check in every so often. I would go here again if I have the chance. ”
